These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Wandercoon mobile application (the "App") and this website (together, the "Service"), published by Adam ALET EI ("Wandercoon", "we", "us" or "our"). By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Wandercoon is a walking-companion game. With your permission, it reads your step count from your device's health service and turns your real-world steps into in-game progress — exploring worlds, earning the in-game currency ("Apples") and unlocking cosmetics. The core game is free to play.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You can play without an account. If you choose to create one to back up and sync your progress, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping access to your email and account secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
3. In-Game Currency and Items
Apples and cosmetic items are part of the game only. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and cannot be sold, transferred or redeemed outside the App. Apples can only be earned by walking — they are never sold for real money. We may adjust the game economy, rewards and content over time to keep the experience balanced.
4. Wandercoon+ and Purchases
Wandercoon+ is an optional premium offering that unlocks additional worlds, exclusive cosmetics (purchasable with Apples you have earned) and cloud sync. It is available as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
- All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and are subject to their terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
- Premium access is a personal, non-transferable licence to use the features for as long as the Service is offered. A one-time "lifetime" purchase grants access for the lifetime of the Service and does not guarantee perpetual or indefinite availability.
5. Refunds
Because purchases are handled by Apple and Google, refunds are governed by their respective policies and must be requested through them. If you are a consumer in the European Union, your statutory rights — including any right of withdrawal — are not affected by these Terms.
6. Health Disclaimer
Wandercoon is a game intended for entertainment and motivation. It is not a medical, fitness or health device, and the step counts it shows are estimates provided by your device. Nothing in the Service is medical advice. Always be mindful of your surroundings while walking, and consult a healthcare professional before starting or changing any physical activity.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Cheat, falsify step data, or otherwise manipulate the game economy or progress.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or its infrastructure.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its name, artwork, characters, code and content, is owned by Adam ALET EI and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we handle it.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Termination and Changes to the Service
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from within the App. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. We may also modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service; where reasonably possible, we will give notice of material changes that significantly affect you. If we permanently discontinue the Service, we will stop all future subscription renewals so that you are not charged for any period after the discontinuation. For one-time "lifetime" purchases and for any prepaid subscription period that has not yet elapsed at that time, your sole remedy is a refund as provided under the App Store or Google Play refund policies, through which all purchases were made.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
