Your steps are his only engine.

Wandercoon turns your walking into a journey. Wander, a raccoon, crosses illustrated worlds, at the distance you give him.

A day of Wandercoon

Three minutes in the evening. The rest is just walking.

No manual logging, no GPS, no map of your movements. Wandercoon reads your step count and stops there.

1

You walk

Your phone already counts your steps. Wandercoon reads them from Apple Health or Health Connect. You don't even open the app.

2

He walks that far

Your day of walking fills the biome gauge. He advances along it, and crosses whatever there is to cross.

You harvest

When you open the app, you launch the journey. He catches up the distance, opens what he found, and stops there.

iPhone

Apple Health, or the phone's built-in pedometer. Nothing extra to install.

Android

Health Connect, or the phone's step counter. Nothing extra to install either.

The journey

A path, not a counter

Each biome is one continuous path, not a counter that resets every morning. You advance when you want — the gauge waits.

The collectibles

Collectibles to find along the way

Creatures and little things appear as you walk, and join the album in your notebook. Some show themselves right away, others take their time.

Wander & the shop

Apples, and things to spend them on

A sweater, glasses, a hat, a fur color. Six slots, one shop, and apples you pick up while walking.

The questions we get asked

Does it use GPS? +

No. Wandercoon only reads your daily step count, via Apple Health or Health Connect. No position, no route, no map of your movements.

Does it drain my battery? +

No. The app doesn't run in the background: it reads the step counter your phone already keeps, the moment you open it.

What about a treadmill, or at home? +

A step is a step. Treadmill, hallway, pacing during a call: Wander advances the same. He doesn't check where you went.

What if I stop for a week? +

Nothing happens. No broken streak, no guilt-tripping notification, no lost progress. You pick up right where you left off.

Do I need an account, or internet? +

Neither. Everything is stored on your phone. A free account is only for saving your game to the cloud.

What happens to my health data? +

It stays on your phone. Wandercoon only reads a step total, never sells it, and isn't a medical device — just a game that makes you want to go outside.

Go for a walk. He hasn't moved since earlier.

The first biome is free, no account, no GPS. Two minutes to start, and two weeks of walking ahead of you.
